Noah's Ark May Have Been Discovered

History unfolds stunning details about ancient floods in its chapters across the globe. But it is quite strange that the diversified cultures share quite a few similarities about these natural calamities. First, a man engineers a massive ship. But unfortunately, the world floods from all sides. And the man tries to overpower the storm on his boat. It seems like the story of Noah's Ark, right? This isn't any tell-tale work of fiction. While many people claim to have found the remnants of the ancient Biblical boat, one team discovered something that could be the full stop to all false claims.

The Story Behind the Ark

According to the Bible and the Quran, God summons Noah to build a massive ark where he could fight out a destructive storm. But the holy wordings weren't Noah's first appearances. His story routes back to Mesopotamia, the historical region of Western Asia. He was known as Ziusudra then. Later, Noah showed up in a Babylonian tale, yet again with another name called Gilgamesh. But the ultimate mission of the century was to find the ancient ark.

The original story of Noah is still a captivating belief that rules various Holy Scriptures and relics. As the story of his ark became popular, it caught the attention of explorers from across the globe. Some serious expeditions eventually followed this. And the quest to find Noah's Ark began.

Opinions Differ

But the reasoning of modern researchers seemed to clash with the belief that trailed back to thousands of years. While some tried to decode the story, many believed that the melting glacial ice caused the flood. But a particular explorer stood by his theory that wasn't theorized on land.

In 1989, Robert Ballard believed that Noah's Ark could have drowned in the Black Sea after the recession of the glacial floods. After exploring hundreds of miles underwater, his team discovered something stunning that seemed to have reborn from the past. Ballard's team was surprised and blown away at what they saw.

Not the Ark, But Something Else Waits Down There

A 7000-year-old settlement that was seemingly destroyed by the ancient flood lay beneath the Black Sea. It was a miraculous discovery. While the team rejoiced at their stunning revelation, Noah's Ark was not found anywhere in the deep sea. Though Robert returned to the shore empty-handed,
he wasn't the last to go hunting for the ancient ship.

Mount Ararat Hides the Biblical Ark

While some severe expeditions were en route to finding the lost ship, many believed that Mount Ararat enclosed the Biblical Ark. So in 2004, a businessman named Daniel McGivern set out on his mission to explore the icy cliff. But this was just another disappointment. Unfortunately, the Turkish government denied Daniel access to the mountain. The next place to be the secret abode of Noah's Ark was the Alborz Mountains.

False Claims Take Shape

Expeditions never ceased. And so were the false claims. Another team routed its journey to the Alborz Mountains, Iran. The team located a large blackened ruin and claimed it to be the ark. But others remarked that it was nothing more than a mineral deposit. While many expeditions turned out to be hoaxes, a shocking discovery in 2007 changed everything.

A Shocking Revelation

It all started when a Turkish and Chinese-based team called Noah's Ark Ministries International advanced towards Mount Ararat. The answer to a single question that was uttered a million times for centuries seemed to lay there. The group found something surprisingly shocking that most archaeologists are still struggling to interpret.

Ancient Wooden Chambers Unearthed

About 13,000 feet up in the peak, the explorers reportedly found large wooden chambers earthed in the ground. The team shook at what they saw. A reincarnated treasure stood before their eyes. Initially, there was no proper conclusion to this claim. But when they investigated further, something odd started to surface.

The Unbelievable Discovery

The team carried down a few samples from the spot and started testing the materials using radiocarbon dating. The result stunned everyone. The wood dated back to about 4,800 years. And coincidentally, Noah was believed to have built the ark around the same time. But one scholar wasn't so sure about this.

Uncertainty Prevails Against the Discovery

While science and carbon dating managed to give certain clues that the world was created just six thousand years ago, the scholar stood by his denial. He contradicted the group's findings and their claims. Different people have different concerns and theories to either support or oppose each other's discoveries. Meanwhile, the tale had a new twist.

The Mystery is Complicated

Mount Ararat, nesting the ancient ark, was a modern concept that wasn't taken well by many scholars. The place wasn't mentioned anywhere in the Bible. According to various holy books, the ark supposedly landed somewhere in Urartu. So what was the wooden construction the NAMI group found back in the Turkish mountain?

The Discovery is Unclaimed

Some scholars believed that the structure could be an ancient shrine dedicated to the ark. But this raised further suspicion among other researchers who claimed that the wood isn't from the Biblical time capsule. The reason was simple—the Holy Bible wasn't written 4,800 years ago!

The Team Never Gives Up

But the NAMI group never gave up on their belief. According to them, the wooden chamber they stumbled upon in Mount Ararat was Noah's Ark. The veracity of their claims remains unconfirmed though their opinion cements to their discovery.

Noah's Ark Continues to be an Unsolved Puzzle

While no one has managed to prove their claims, the real Noah's Ark remains a hidden mystery. Ark-heads across the world continue to scavenge high and low for signs of the Biblical boat. But none of them is sure whether the ancient treasure is buried or sunk in the sea.

Ancient artifacts and treasures give into the hands of the luckiest men. While there have been numerous findings dating back to millions of years, the Noah's Ark remains an undiscovered covenant of the Holy Scriptures. If the Holy Ark is found someday in the future, a significant chapter might add under history's leaflets!
