Girl Falls 10,000 Feet From Plane And The Rescue Team Is Shocked

It was Christmas Eve in 1971 when everyone aboard the LANSA Flight 508 was eager to get home. Juliane Koepcke and her mother were flying over the Peruvian rainforest, assuming the journey to be like any other. Soon, tragedy struck them when they expected the least of it. Flight 508 was struck by lightning, and Juliane didn't get a chance to watch her life flash before her eyes. She plummeted 10,000 feet towards the dense landscape, and eventually battled for her life—ALONE.
