The Oscars have been known to bring out the best outfits, but once the ceremony ends and the curtain comes down, the after-party begins. And the Vanity Fair Oscars party tends to rival the main event when it comes to outfits, and this year was no different. From Adriana Lima's high slit to Tracee Ellis Ross' golden ensemble, the Vanity Fair after-party had it all.

Hailey Bieber

Hailey Bieber wore a sheer Versace gown made with patterned lace and embroidered with black Swarovski crystals. The back of Bieber's gown is also semi-sheer, leaving onlookers stunned. The model completed her look with platform sandals and jewels from Tiffany & Co.

Scarlett Johansson

Scarlett Johansson wore a seductive Oscar de la Renta gown. The dress showed off Johansson's beautiful ribcage tattoo and somehow made her look even more stunning. The actress capped off her outfit with Jimmy Choo Thyra sandals and Forevermark Jewels.

Chrissy Teigen

Many people at the Vanity Fair after-party had to pick up their jaws off the floor once they saw Chrissy Tiegen rock up with this number. She wore a Tiffany Blue dress from the Georges Hobeika Spring 2020 Couture collection. Tiegen completed her outfit with metallic silver heels and a sparkling blue clutch.

Karolina Kurkova

Karolina Kurkova attended the after-party dressed in a custom sheer Etro gown. Her dress featured ruched sleeves, a bodysuit, and an embroidered belt. The model made it a point to flaunt her legs, and we can see why.

Cynthia Erivo

Cynthia Erivo wore two Atelier Versace outfits on Oscars night. The first for the main event and the second for the Vanity Fair after-party. This gorgeous custom lilac aquamarine Atelier Versace gown capped off an excellent night for the actress, who earned a standing ovation at the main event for her performance

Adriana Lima

Adriana Lima blew everyone away in this beautiful dress from the Ralph & Russo Spring 2020 Couture collection. The dress had a dangerously high slit that certainly got people talking. The model also wore Harry Kotlar chandelier diamond earrings to compliment her look.

Freida Pinto

The actress wore an emerald green velvet dress designed by the Israeli fashion house Galia Lahav. Freida Pinto went for a more minimalistic look compared to her fellow party-goers, but she managed to pull it off. The actress styled her outfit with Tacori jewels and a Jimmy Choo clutch.

Lili Reinhart

The Oscars aren't exactly a spring event, but Lili Reinhart decided to rock up a floral gown at the Vanity Fair Oscars Party in Beverly Hills. Still, the actress looked as stunning as ever with her signature ponytail. Reinhart's dress is from the Marc Jacobs Spring 2020 collection.

Suki Waterhouse

Suki Waterhouse chose to take it back to 2019 with this Fendi Fall 2019 Couture gown. This lingerie-inspired dress featured a glorified slip, petticoat, and bralette. The model also wore Chopard earrings to complement her outfit. Waterhouse has been modeling since she was just 16, and you can see it in the way she carries herself in front of the camera. She knows how to bring outfits to life.

Aubrey Plaza

It's not an exaggeration to say that Aubrey Plaza was a few fabrics away from looking a bit off. But thanks to her toned physique, she managed to pull off this Hellessy Spring 2020 dress. The Parks and Recreation actor completed her look with Jacob and Co earrings and a Jimmy Choo clutch.

Emily Ratajkowski attended the Vanity Fair Oscars party in a white two-piece bandeau and skirt. The model decided to show off a lot of skin at the party, which didn't come as a surprise to anyone familiar with her signature style

Barbara Palvin

Barbara Palvin wore a nude dress with a draping sleeve designed by Atelier Versace. The gown also featured Swarovski crystal embroidery in the shape of a horse's mane. She finished off her look with a pair of Versace sandals.

Kerry Washington came to the event dressed in a Zuhair Murad two-piece. And no one rocks a two-piece better than Kerry Washinton. This Egyptian-inspired sun-colored two-piece also featured multi-colored Egyptian jewels from Zuhair Murad's Spring 2020 Couture collection. The Scandal star finished the look with Sophia Webster' Nicole' sandals and Azza Fahmy jewels.

Paris Jackson dawned an Atelier Versace ball gown with pink and green tones and a feathered skirt. She also wore a dream catcher necklace and gold bangles to complete the look. Her hair could've been a little better, but the dress makes up for it.

Olivia Munn is what you would call a Versace woman. Her Atelier Versace gown has a beautiful bustier enriched with black bondage belt accents and gold-tone hardware. The actress completed her look with Jimmy Choo's 'Max' platform sandals and David Yurman jewels.

Kate Hudson wore a yellow low-cut strapless sweetheart gown by Vivienne Westwood Couture. She also added David Webb Jewels, Jimmy Choo platform sandals, and a Jimmy Choo cloud clutch to complete her look. Not everyone agreed with her hairstyle, but no one can deny that the actress looked stunning.

Zoey Deutch channeled her inner Little Red, or should we say blue, Riding Hood, with this outfit. She wore a chiffon gown and cape from the Valentino Fall 2019 Haute Couture collection. The actress had one of the best looks at the event.

Shay Mitchell wore a sheer Honayda dress to the event. What made the look even more impressive was that the actress had given birth just a few months before the Oscars. Mitchell complemented her dress with Stuart Weitzman shoes, a Tyler Ellis clutch, Djula earrings, and rings by Vanleles and Le Vian.

Winnie Harlow

Winnie Harlow pulled off her best angel impression with this white sequin tulle marquisette and lace. The dress was from the Andreas Kronthaler for Vivienne Westwood Spring 2020 collection. Marisa Tomei looked stunning as always. It's a shame that her dress didn't do her any justice. The dress was from the Georges Hobeika Spring 2020 Couture. The actress chose to wear it backward for some reason, but it still looked very weird.

Fans of Laura Dern may recognize this dress from her appearance at the 1995 Sheba Humanitarian Awards Gala. This vintage Giorgia Armani dress was custom made for the actress back in 1990. This was the third time she wore it to a major event. The second time was at the 2013 Vanity Fair Oscars party.

Having a supermodel on the red carpet always seems a little unfair to the competition. But when they pull off a Zuhair Murad Spring 2019 Couture blue sequin jumpsuit like this, no one is complaining. Candice Swanepoel blew everyone away with this outfit.

Black has become Lake Bell's signature look. The actress looks good in anything that's black. Bell wore a sheer Zuhair Murad Resort 2020 gown to the Vanity Fair Oscars party. She finished off the look with Messika jewels, a Roger Vivier' Bracelet RV clutch, and Roger Vivier Queen sandals.

Riley Keough is one of Louis Vuitton's ambassadors, which means she gets to pick any outfit she wants from their line. So how she chose to go with this bland look remains a mystery. Keough wasn't nominated or presenting on the night, but we still expected her to put more effort into her outfit.

Amber Valletta

Amber Valletta's mesh metal animal dress is about as Saint Laurent as a dress can be. The only surprise is that the dress wasn't shorter. Valletta may have played it a little safe, but she looked stunning regardless. And the Nikos Koulis jewelry she wore complimented her outfit.

Madelaine Petsch

Compared to some of the other attendees, Madelaine Petsch is a novice on the red carpet, but you wouldn't be able to tell that by looking at her. She wore an emerald green Elie Saab Fall 2019 Haute Couture gown that complemented her beautiful red hair.

This magenta embroidered gown with beaded fringe is from the Zuhair Murad Pre-Fall 2019 collection. The dress complimented Betty Gilpin perfectly. It went well with the Stuart Weitzman' Merinda' sandals and matching Tyler Ellis clutch.

Taylor Hill

Taylor Hill wore a hand-embroidered dress from the Ralph & Russo Fall 2019 Couture. All of the silk thread work, crystals, ruby stones, pearlescent sequins, and ostrich feathers were done by hand. And all of this hard work was done so that she could show up in what was easily one of the weirdest outfits of the night.

Sofia Boutella

Sofia Boutella rocked up to the after-party in a sheer dress from the Valentino Pre-Fall 2020 collection. The only drawback of this outfit is her black underwear. Had they been in a different color, then this outfit would've been perfect for her.

Gugu Mbatha-Raw has had some great red carpet moments, and this was another one of them. She wore a Louis Vuitton black lace dress to the event. A few eyebrows were raised when the actress decided to forgo the traditional red carpet hairstyle and go with her naturally curly hair.

The actress didn't win any award on the night but did win an Oscar for Best Supporting Actress at the 1994 Academy Awards. Paquin could have gone for something a little bolder, but there's not a lot wrong with her outfit.
