Inside Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s MSG Wedding: Report

After months of rumors and rampant speculation, the wait is finally over for Swifties and football fans alike. Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have said "I do."

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are officially husband and wife. The pop megastar and Kansas City Chiefs tight end tied the knot in a grandiose, star-studded wedding at Madison Square Garden in New York City on Friday, July 3.

A representative for Swift confirmed the news shortly after the ceremony, putting an end to weeks of speculation leading up to the big day. Once the pair were pronounced husband and wife, the jumbotrons outside the arena flashed the happy announcement: "JUST&T MARRIED!"

According to Swift's representative, the bride and groom's wedding attire was crafted by Christian Dior Haute Couture and designed by Jonathan Anderson, Creative Director of Dior Women's, Men's and Haute Couture Collections, who worked closely with the couple on the designs.

"This is the designer's first couture wedding dress for a world-renowned celebrity. Their shoes were custom made by Christian Louboutin and the bride wore Cartier jewelry," the statement continued.

"Taylor & Travis did not have bridesmaids or groomsmen," the rep added. "Instead, her brother Austin Swift served as Taylor's Man of Honor and Jason Kelce was Travis' Best Man. The ceremony joined both families together and was officiated by friend Adam Sandler."

Footage from outside the venue captured vendors hauling in elaborate decor, sparking rumors that the setup included a castle. For the milestone event, the couple had several sections of the iconic arena completely transformed.

"It looked like a forest," an insider told People, describing an arrangement of ferns and trees, with the arena seats draped in white.

During the ceremony, "Taylor walked down the aisle to a stage where they said 'I do,'" the source said, adding that "their vows were about 20 minutes each," with Swift and Kelce reading from gold books.

The newlyweds also handed out embroidered handkerchiefs to guests, anticipating a few emotional moments throughout the night.

"After the ceremony, Taylor's mom invited everyone into the reception room where a stage was set up," the insider continued, revealing that Paul McCartney performed The Beatles' classic "I Want to Hold Your Hand."

Stevie Nicks also took the stage among the star-studded lineup. At the reception, guests feasted on Italian fare, sushi, and passed hors d'oeuvres, and "there were bars everywhere," the source notes, adding that despite the venue's size, "it was very crowded!"

Beyond their families, Swift and Kelce marked the next chapter of their romance with a sprawling guest list of famous friends and colleagues, including Ed Sheeran, Selena Gomez, Jennifer Lopez, Sabrina Carpenter, Brad Pitt, Tom Hanks, Bradley Cooper, and Dakota Johnson, all spotted arriving in their finest on Friday.

Leading up to the event, Swift and Kelce kept the wedding details tightly guarded, and their guests followed suit. Still, San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle let it slip to ExtraTV that attendees were told there would be "absolutely no gifts."

Swift and Kelce's love story began after Kelce admitted he had tried — and failed — to hand Swift a friendship bracelet bearing his phone number at one of her Eras Tour shows at Arrowhead Stadium in July 2023.

Though his first attempt fell flat, Kelce publicly professed his interest in Swift on his podcast, "New Heights," later that same month. The two started dating soon after, with an assist from Swift's mother, Andrea. They announced their engagement on Instagram in August 2025.
