Much about Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ reported trip out of federal prison early Saturday is still unconfirmed, including how he hurt his head. Here is what we know so far.
Sean "Diddy" Combs was reportedly rushed out of federal prison early on Saturday, October 10, for treatment of a head injury, according to TMZ and People. Further details have not been released, including the cause of the injury.

According to TMZ’s sources at FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey, where Combs is currently serving time, the music mogul left the prison grounds in an ambulance that left at around 1 a.m.
People also confirmed through a source that Combs was brought to a hospital for an injury that was not life-threatening and returned to prison later that day.
TMZ reported Combs was conscious and speaking when he returned to FCI Fort Dix before sunrise. People added that Combs was placed in solitary confinement upon his return.
In a statement to People, Combs' spokesperson, Juda Engelmayer, said, “We are aware of the reports concerning Sean Combs and are working to confirm the circumstances,” adding, “Sean’s health and well-being are our immediate concern, and we appreciate everyone who has reached out.”

Combs’ trip to the hospital comes days after reports revealed that his former release date, January 21, 2028, had been pushed back to March 2, 2028, according to Bureau of Prison records.
When asked to comment about this, the bureau told People, “For privacy, safety, and security reasons, we do not comment on the conditions of confinement for any incarcerated individual, including reasons for a change in release date.”
In early October, it was reported that Combs was placed in solitary confinement following an NBC News report exposing his alleged pampered lifestyle behind bars. The report said that Combs had a modified tablet where he watched movies and documentaries, including a Netflix docuseries about him, and that he was seen using a cellphone, scrolling through Instagram and watching explicit photos sent to him by an ex-girlfriend.
He also allegedly enjoyed specially prepared meals, massages, and was seen drinking cognac. Men would allegedly clean his toilet and do his laundry for him.

Engelmeyer questioned how information about Combs’ prison life was obtained and circulated. “There is something odd about all of this,” the spokesperson said. “Someone was apparently able to record Sean inside the prison, and numerous stories continue to emerge from inside the facility in real time.”
Combs is serving a 50-month federal sentence after being convicted on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution. He was acquitted of more serious charges after a high-profile trial in Manhattan. After his sentencing, he was moved from the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn to Fort Dix, a low-security facility near Philadelphia.
