Long before cameras rolled on HBO's teen drama, Chloe Cherry was already living a story stranger than fiction. Now she's ready to tell it in her own words.

"Euphoria" star Chloe Cherry has announced she's set to release a tell-all memoir titled "Somewhere Dark and Hot," chronicling her time in the adult entertainment industry and her subsequent rise to fame in Sam Levinson's hit HBO show.

According to the book's synopsis, Cherry left her abusive home in Pennsylvania at 18 and began working in the unforgiving adult industry. But everything changed when she joined the cast of season two of "Euphoria."

The moment marked a turning point where Cherry "went from adult-industry outsider to breakout icon, challenging assumptions about who gets to cross over into Hollywood."

"In 'Somewhere Dark and Hot,' Chloe tells the story of how she survived it all and why she regrets none of it. Shocking, funny, and nakedly matter-of-fact, she dismantles the myths we tell about 'good girls' and 'bad choices,'" the synopsis continues.

"In the tradition of Julia Fox's 'Down the Drain' and Jennette McCurdy's 'I'm Glad My Mom Died,' 'Somewhere Dark and Hot' is a raw and fearless memoir about girlhood, survival, desire, performance, and the power of owning your story."

Simon & Schuster confirmed the book will hit shelves on February 23, 2027. The publishing house's vice president, executive editor, and head of special projects, Stuart Roberts, also weighed in on the project.

"'Somewhere Dark and Hot' is the rare memoir that is both intensely personal and culturally significant, capturing the realities of American girlhood, performance, fame, sex, and self-invention," he said.

He added, "From the moment I read it, I knew readers wouldn't be able to look away. Like Chloe herself, the book is disarmingly honest, wildly funny, and full of hard-earned truths."

The announcement comes on the heels of "Euphoria" wrapping at the end of May. Cherry played Faye in seasons two and three — the drifting addict fans first meet through her friendship with Fezco, portrayed by the late Angus Cloud.

Cherry recently opened up about the show's conclusion and the mark it left on her. "[Euphoria] made me perceive myself in a completely new way. I was, for the first time in my life, appreciated for my mind," she shared.

"I was appreciated for being funny. I was appreciated for coming up with lines. It was the first time in my whole life that I felt appreciation for my brain and not just everything being about, I don't know — it was so great for me to go through this transformation," she continued.

"It completely changed my life trajectory forever to realize that I actually am smart enough to do things," she added. "It just makes me realize it's never too late to be what you might've been."

Cherry has previously revealed that she was caught off guard when Levinson reached out to offer her the role, but their collaboration — paired with everything she learned making the show — gave her a newfound sense of confidence.

"Sam Levinson's trust in me and belief in me instilled an immense amount of confidence into me. That definitely changed me forever. A true level of actual confidence in my heart and soul that I'm just so grateful for," Cherry said.
