Christina Pazsitzky Breaks Down as She Details Divorce From Tom Segura

Nearly a month after news of their separation first surfaced, Pazsitzky addressed listeners directly on "Your Mom's House," confirming for the first time that she and Segura are officially divorcing.

Christina Pazsitzky is getting vulnerable nearly one month after news emerged that she and her husband of 18 years, Tom Segura, have gone their separate ways.

The longtime comedian and actress opened up for the first time about the split, confirming that they are indeed getting a divorce. Pazsitzky discussed the end of her marriage during the latest episode of her podcast, "Your Mom's House."

"Yes, Tom and I are divorcing and it is extremely sad," she began as her voice wavered. "That being said, we have tried to work it out for several years for the sake of our children and our family. We gave it all we could, but we just couldn't work things out."

Speaking through tears, Pazsitzky, 50, explained that she and Segura are "no longer a couple," but that the children remain their top priority.

"Look, we had 20 amazing years together. That's a really good run, I think, in a marriage," she continued. "We had a very successful marriage. We created [the podcast], we have comedy careers [and] most importantly created a family."

She then explained why she felt compelled to address her audience, many of whom have followed the couple through multiple chapters of their lives together.

"For those of you who have listened to us since the very beginning, we've been through Tom and I getting married and moving to Silver Lake and being two broke comics. We've been through births and deaths, tragic accidents, cancer, COVID, all the things," she explained.

She added, "I want you to know that I'm still your mom and I'm still here and we will survive. We will get through this [expletive] like we've gotten through everything else in life. This is just an unfortunate thing."

Pazsitzky described the divorce as "amicable," noting that she and Segura remain on peaceful terms. "This is not an ugly divorce. We're cool, dude. It's been 20 [expletive] years and we met in our 20s. Like, we met as kids. So, you know, people change. It's just one of those things."

After seeing how fans reacted to the news online, Pazsitzky also urged listeners not to pick sides, insisting there's no need to be "Team Christina" or "Team Tom." In fact, the former couple intends to keep working together.

"Tom and I do not hate each other. We have a family. [...] He's going to host the show when he can 'cause he's filming a lot of films and television right now and I'm going to host the show and we're still going to have a good [expletive] time because we ain't dead yet," she said.

She also revealed that she and Segura had vacationed together in London with their children since separating. "We are not at each other's throats," she shared. "We are still a family in many regards. He and I have such a good rapport from being together for 20 years."

Elsewhere in the episode, the mother of two joked that news of her divorce had triggered an "international d—k alert," leaving her "flooded" with DMs from interested men. "I have to say, it is flattering… I'm not [expletive] there yet," she admitted.

Last month, Pazsitzky first broke her silence on the separation in an emotional social media post. "Thank you for all the kind messages," she wrote via Instagram Stories at the time. "This is a really difficult time for our family."

The estranged duo share two sons — Ellis and Julian, born in 2016 and 2018, respectively — and co-founded the podcast network YMH Studios. They also co-host "Your Mom's House," which debuted in 2012.
