Days after her frank admission made headlines, the star swapped the spotlight for stroller duty on a midweek outing. Even on a laid-back errand run, she proved that a single statement piece can elevate the simplest outfit.
Jennifer Lawrence wears motherhood well. The "Hunger Games" actress was spotted stepping out with her youngest son on Wednesday afternoon, October 28, in New York City.

She kept her look effortlessly chic, layering an ankle-length chartreuse velvet coat over a relaxed, comfort-first ensemble. The oversized topper boasted a high stand collar, a buttoned front and a long back slit that revealed a cream lining with every step.
Underneath, the actress opted for a white tie dye top, which she paired with a yellow knitted cardigan, loose, wide-leg black trousers and simple black flats. She finished the look with a delicate gold necklace, a ring and a pair of slim, oval black sunglasses.
Slung over her shoulder was a woven basket bag with brown leather straps, its natural tan weave punctuated by bold purple, black and white patterned stripes. Lawrence swept her light brown hair into a loose, low bun secured with a butter-yellow scrunchie, leaving a few face-framing strands falling free.
The doting mom pushed her son along in a black Babyzen YOYO stroller, with a red backpack hanging from the handlebar. The little one was bundled up in a navy and red zip-up jacket, beige pants with a playful green and brown print, white socks and navy sneakers.
The outing came just one day after Lawrence confirmed, in an interview published on Tuesday, October 27, that she underwent a breast lift after welcoming her second child. "I want to be a sexy mom," she told The Cut in her new cover story.
"At drop-off, I want to look like a woman that has her [expletive] together even when I've just woken up and don't have my [expletive] together," she explained. The Oscar-winning star's comments followed an earlier profile in which she first revealed her plans for the procedure.
In that interview, published in October 2025, the actress opened up to The New Yorker about how motherhood had changed her body while reflecting on a nude scene in her 2023 comedy "No Hard Feelings."
"Everything bounced back, pretty much, after the first one," Lawrence told the publication at the time. "Second one, nothing bounced back." The star, now 36, said she expected to appear nude on camera again the following spring, one year after giving birth to her second child.
She went on to team up with director Martin Scorsese and Leonardo DiCaprio for "What Happens at Night," an adaptation of Peter Cameron's 2020 novel.
Asked whether she would still consider the procedure if she weren't a famous actress, Lawrence admitted that her career played a role in the decision. "Maybe I wouldn't be hustling to the appointment in the same way," she said. "But I think yes."
In the same 2025 conversation, Lawrence also weighed in on other cosmetic treatments, including Botox and dermal fillers.
She explained that she steers clear of fillers because they can be noticeable on camera, adding that she wants to keep enough movement in her forehead to play characters who wouldn't have access to celebrity dermatology.
When asked whether she had already had a facelift, Lawrence joked about the possibility of getting one down the line. "No," she said. "But, believe me, I'm gonna!"
